After a long search, we found this gem in neighbouring Poland, where it hadn’t even been for 10 months after leaving the port of Los Angeles in its native California. This is a rare GT 390 with a 6.4-litre, V8 big block 390cui engine and a four-speed manual transmission. The car has an unusual aluminium deluxe interior (for a surcharge) and centre and roof consoles. In Marti Reports you can find it listed under “interior decore group+console”. We performed a total renovation perfectly, down to the last detail, exactly according to the original configuration as described by Marti Reports. During the renovation a complete disassembly and subsequent reassembly took place. Every single part was either meticulously renovated or replaced by a new one. Like each of our cars, the complete bodywork was gently cleaned by hand sanding and sandblasting down to the original sheet metal. Then we repaired it perfectly by plumbing, bonding and meticulously painting it exactly according to Novol’s mandatory special vintage technology procedure. The car has an international renovation certificate and exactly matches the production configuration according to the VIN and the previously mentioned Marti Reports. At the owner’s request, there’s only one detail that’s not original: the 15” light alloy wheels produced by the company American Racing. They simply match the car perfectly.
